2. Do not use symbols like &, @, #, but can use %, ! and $ but not so appreciated.
3. Can use three sentences for describing about the product.
4. Should modify only the site description for Meta Description. (The first sentence of every product for Meta Description must be as it in live site, the other two sentences can have variation or for giving extra effects).
5. Should not Copy or Paste the competitor site product description into our site. Product description should be very unique, it shouldn’t duplicate from any other site.
6. Each product's keywords should be very unique; it can have repetitive keywords (in case of similar products reprtation ) but not in same alignment or order.
7. The starting of each product keywords or description should be same as the Title tag. (it is search engine friendly)
8. Always avoid using single keywords for dynamic site to some extend to drive traffic directly to site(it is welcome for different search engines)
9. Do not use “and” in keywords part as it is not appreciated with different SEs.
10. Try clubbing 2 or 3 keywords in site description for better traffic, but not more than 3. The maximum is 2 or 3.
11. Use always simple jargons in description, and do not use the complex argot.
12. For dynamic site Meta Keywords should be limited to 20 words and Meta Description should be limited to 250 characters.

Always follow these steps while optimizing your site, to drive a better traffic from various SEs.

SEO and its importances

We are in a competitive world fighting to make us better than others. It is very suited for business, studies, politics … etc. For being better in our day to day activities, it is up to us to prove ourselves that “WHO YOU ARE” in this world. Like same way, SEO needs certain skill to prove your site to SEARCH ENGINES that you are unique from all mirror site or different competitive site.

For instance, take this as an example, Search engine is a sea where fishes are like different site. If the people searches in GOOGLE, YAHOO or MSN search… for fishes like red fish, the net should capture the exact red fish of which we are looking for. For making that Red Fish in the search listing, SEO is needed.

SEO helps in sturdiness to rank in different search engines, search engine optimization is an internet marketing that helps to optimize a site in such a way to bring traffic or visitor into your site to make your business (site) flourish by its site or link popularity.

Be aware of Blackhat SEO Techniques

Black hat SEO :

It is the technic to rank search engine fast in non-organic way or not ethical. But search engine are enemies of black hat SEO that gives only short term search results. Black Hat meant for search engine only and not visitors. In black hat SEO the visibility lack to human beings.

Let see some of the examples of Black hat SEO.

Hidden Text: - Hidden text is textual content which your visitors can't see but still readable by Search Engine. It can be done by making font color as same as background color or making font color as same as background image.

Keyword Stuffing:- is a technique used to spam search engines by placing excessive or irrelevant keywords in the meta keywords tag or throughout the content of the page. Because search engines scan web pages for the words that are entered into search criteria by the user.

Landing Pages/Doorway Pages/Bridge Pages :- It may be define as the fake pages that the user will never see. Doorway pages are pages packed with keywords, and designed solely for the search engines. It is an attempt to trick search engines into indexing the site higher.

Cloaking:- It is a technique in which the content presented to the search engines is different from that present to the user's browser. This is done by delivering content based on IP address of the user requesting the page. When a user is defined as search engine spider, a server side script delivers a different version of web page. It is use to deceive the search engine. Actually what happens it is a CGI script which reads the IP address of the requester against the IP address of the SE spiders. If no match is found then requester is identified as “human”. The point is that highly optimized web pages are served to SE while human visitors get a different web page from the same url.

Link Farming:- The process of exchanging reciprocal links with websites in order to increase Search Engine Rankings. This is done just to increase the number of sites that links to yours site, but it is consider as SPAM. Because Google says we have to exchange links only with the site that are having relevant theme as same as our site and a link page doesn't contain more then 50 links.

Page Hijacking:- It is the form of spamming the index of search engine. Mostly web hosts do it, when we forget to renew our domain name. It is achieved by creating a rough copy of a popular website which shows content similar to the original website to a web crawler but redirects the web surfers to the unrelated or malicious website. Link spammers monitor DNS records for domains that will expire soon and buy them when they expire and replace the pages with the links to their pages.

Automated Search Engine Submission Software:- We don't have to use such softwares for the promotion purpose. They don't work efficiently and sometime they caused for banning the website. We don't have to rely on them.

Duplicate Content:- To use the same content on different pages, Google consider it as spam and if it detects large amount of duplicate content on different sub or main domains then Google can impose “Duplicate Content Penalty” which results in losing rankings. So we should put different meaningful content at our pages and on sub domains also.

Content Solely For Search Engines:- Don't publish any content that is meant for search engines only. Content rich in keyword density not useful for human beings and it is easily detected by Google and other search engines which results in penalties. Therefore we always have to write content firstly for humans and then for crawlers and robots.

Frames:- Though frames are not “Black Hat SEO” but frames should be avoided as they cause huge problem with crawlers to index the site.

Email Spamming:- Unwanted, unsolicited email, to send the emails to number of people not directly related to SEO is called email spamming.

Hence these are the major Black Hat SEO Techniques. These techniques gives short term results and lead to the banning of site. So we should never implement such techniques.

Different types of Hats used in SEO

In SEO world we used to come around this term "different types of SEO hats".

While browsing i have come across some of the different types of hats. The very safest way is White Hat. Guys follow only white hat to rank organically in Search engine.

The Hats are really just a means to force to think about the different aspects of a problem. They categorized by Coloured Hats, with the colour being symbolic for the approach/aspect of thinking about now. Think of them as the modes of attacking a problem.

SEO Hats types

Currently there are of Eight Hats ... namely

1. White Hat
2. Black Hat
3. Gray or Black Hat
4. Yellow Hat
5. Red Hat
6. Blue hat
7. Pink hat
8. Green Hat

The White Hat:

SEO is done here in ethical way that goes with google webmaster guidelines.

All the tips that comes under Google Web master Guidelines and that I have discussed in first post about ON and OFF page Optimization are called White Hat SEO techniques. In other words it is symbolizing facts and hard data. Always follow the organic way of SEO to rank long in search engine.

Black Hat:

It is quite opposite to white that goes with non ethical way that doesn't go with google webmaster guidelines or non organic way.

The Red Hat:

symbolizing emotions. Here we start making hypotheses about what's going on, but only on an emotional level.

The Black or Gray Hat:

It may be defined as the techniques that are used to get higher search engine rankings in an unethical manner. So anything that the search engine forbids us from doing like doorway pages, cloaking, and hidden text is Black Hat SEO. In short terms it is that applying black hat SEo to get White Hat SEO.

The Yellow Hat:

where we talk about sunny, happy, positive things.

The Green Hat:

It is just a matter of putting all unnecessary procedures and SEO actions to an end and focusing on what all is essential to get in website visitors. When focus is given more on the importance and prominence to the people who visit your website, your site will create more brand awareness, thereby becoming more trustworthy, rather than targeting keywords that provide more traffic, even though it means that you do not have any relevant pages suitable for them. It is to be understood that a happy customer is someone who is more important to your business to get in more profit to you, rather than getting more of inward links.

where you let your mind roams wide and free in endless pastures looking for solutions. Here is when you relax and explicitly think about solutions, ideally using a creative idea generation technique.

Pink Hat SEO

The meaning of the color pink is multifarious, but is generally seen as being loving and sensitive. Combine these with lattes, and you have an SEO who will be alert, possibly sophisticated, and very affectionate toward keyword research. Pink hat SEOs are notorious for having thin skins, however, so be careful.

The Blue Hat:

your sky-high big-picture view of the problem. Think in wider way.

Some say its related to advanced SEO techniques used for web promotion but the same has not yet been declared by any top SEO communities or SEO groups. Originally Blue Hat SEO is a name of a weblog so many misunderstand

And please do note that these SEO colors are not standard ones, they are marketing types distinguished between SEOs who adopt their SEO techniques from ethical to unethical or a mix of both.

BE always Search engine friendly. Follow W3C standards. Rank your site in oraganic way and don't be a spammer. Probably in the near future we might even come up with more colors of SEO as seen in rainbow!!! Lol ;-)

11 Characteristics of Highly Influential Blog or bloggers

Here are some key ideas and takeways — as well as inspirational bloggers you might want to follow — who can help you realize that dream.

Consistency

If you want your blog to be recognized as a household name, you better be consistent at providing quality content on a regular basis. The most popular blogs, according to Technorati, maintain that consistency by posting more than once a day. Granted, these are typically publications that have a staff of writers at their disposal, but they are like the newspapers of the blogosphere and readers have come to expect frequent updates. Blogs like Mashable and Gizmodo offer a consistent stream of stories every single day.

Blogging numerous times daily isn’t necessarily a necessity for blogs just starting out, nor is it feasible for most blogs, especially those who don’t blog for a living but for a hobby. Bloggers like Valeria Maltoni of Conversation Agent, who don’t have a team of bloggers at arm’s length, offer content on a very regular basis (in Valeria’s case, 6 days a week). You don’t necessarily have to pump out content hourly or even every day, but if you want to be a successful blogger, you should try to stick to some sort of schedule. If your readers are expecting content from you weekly, you should deliver weekly content. If your readers expect content from you daily, skipping a day might cause worry or the decision to unsubscribe because neglected content may inadvertently translate to neglecting your readers too.

Eloquence

My three favorite bloggers are Brian Solis, Lisa Barone, and Adam Singer. Why? Because they write damn well. They always have something insightful to say, and it shows in every single blog post that they write. It’s pretty clear that their content exudes intelligence and occasional wit. They treat writing like an art and their art is viral. You can tell that you’re reading blog posts of brilliant writers. They’re that good.

For every post you write, take the time to proofread thoroughly. Would it be embarrassing for me to admit that I proofread every post I write 9-10 times on the low end? (This post has 53 post revisions, for the record.) It’s surprising to see how few people actually do it!

Want another tip on how to write well? Read a lot. Blog posts that are well written are well-received. By putting effort into the writing process, you reap the benefits of a community that supports you because you lift them through your words.

Social Media Marketing Tips

Social Media Marketing Tips

Follow these few words of advice from experts on how to do this:

  1. Never forget that the groundswell is about person-to-person activity. You are not speaking as “the company”, but as a person. Most companies don’t know how to do this, and it takes a lot of practice to find that voice and feel comfortable with it.
  2. Be a good listener. All companies say they listen to their customers, but do they really LISTEN and let people know that they are listening?
  3. Be patient. This takes a long time because you are going to be transforming your company, one person at a time.
  4. Be opportunistic. Start small with the people who are most passionate about building relationships with customers.
  5. Be flexible. You never know what’s going to happen so you have to constantly adjust your thinking and learn.
  6. Be collaborative. You need people from up and down the management chain to buy-in.
  7. Most importantly, be humble. Remember that you are not as powerful as the groundswell. If you forget this, they will let you know.
